High flow, air cleaner assembly for stock or mildly modified engines to 89" with near stock rev limits.
Vacuum controlled butterflies optimize air intake through the 'ram' effect created by air pressure built-up during riding conditions.
Comes with an K&N airfilter element and a choice of chrome plated or black butterfly valves.
Notes:
BLOOD GROOVE COVER air cleaner assemblies come with finned 'blood groove' insert.
COLORED TRAPDOOR & BUTTERFLIES air cleaner assemblies are available with chrome plated, black or candy red and candy blue trapdoor & butterflies.
All kits come with Küryakyn crankcase breather unless mentioned otherwise.
1. H-D Breather for XL Refers to H-D # 29281-91T.
2. Screamin’ Eagle Breather for EVO BT Refers to H-D # 29310-93.
3. Includes FXR2, FXR3 & FXR4.
4. Requires drilling hole in intake to provide vacuum for butterfly operation.
5. Requires drilling hole in Hypercharger back (& mounting bracket where applicable) for float bowl vent.
Each application lists 'early inlet', 'late inlet', or 'Marelli Inlet'.
An early inlet air cleaner will bolt directly to a Keihin Butterfly or Bendix carburetor.
A late inlet air cleaner will bolt directly to the stock 40mm or 44mm Keihin CV carburetor as well as the Delphi E.F.I. (Electronic Fuel Injection) system found on 01-13 B.T. with Delphi E.F.I. (excl. 08-13 Touring).
A Marelli inlet air cleaner will bolt to the Magneti Marelli E.F.I. system found on 95-01 FLT Touring models.
