Raw Steel Flat Side Center Fill Oil Tank

These tanks feature an exclusive oil return routing system.

The internal oil return tube is extended allowing it to dump the hot returned engine oil to the far left side of the oil tank.

This keeps the returned oil as far away from the feed line, creating an efficient circulating effect.

• 3.5 quart with battery tray.

• Lower left hand relief for use with a chain or belt rear drive.

• The flat side tanks measure 11-7/8" long and the domed side tanks measure 12-1/2" long.

• Tank body measures 6-1/2" O.D.

• Made from 16 gauge steel to resist cracking.

• 100% TIG welded for maximum strength.

• Includes heavy duty front mount and fill plug.

• Use with Softail size battery and OE style rear tank mount.

• Uses 1/8-27 NPT fittings for vent, return & feed lines, and 1/4-18 NPT fittings for oil drain.

• For best results use rubber mounts and battery cushion.

• Fits all chopper style & rigid frames.

• Also fits Softail frames 1984-1999 if front tank mount is used.

NOTE:
As with any new oil tank, always thoroughly inspect and flush before installing.

NOTE:
Due to inherent oxidation during storage of oil tanks as well as oxidation associated with chrome plating process, all oil tanks purchased require thorough cleaning with a rust removing chemical liquid prior to use.
